Default Paint peeling on volume knob

Anyone has an issue with paint peeling on the volume knob and light is shining/bleeding through at night when the light is on?
Any recommendation on how to fix this? I'm thinking of use black touch up paint on it ...unless there is a better way.

I just bought a used bezel in good condition from ebay for like $130 that had that piece. Made sure it was the best one I could find. Still havent installed it, but I will soon.

You could try paint.

Or you could also try to find that single piece or find a bezel that includes it.

Thanks. I actually ordered the touch up black paint from amazon. Still waiting for it but I hit it with a black marker and seemed to do the trick for now. HONDA should have put the paint on the inside of the switch so it wont rub off...but I guess that how they make money selling parts. Lol

If you're trying to get it to match, a marker might be a better fit unless you found a flat/matte black paint pen.

SEM Trim paint is a good fit for interior repainting, but you'd have to spray. So take it apart and tape it off.

Message the seller to see better photos if you cant see from the ones already on there. You should be able to tell.

I couldnt find that individual component in good condition by itself. A lot of scrapyards dont seem to take it apart so they end up selling the full bezel. You may find a larger variety of bezels to choose from in good condition.

You can buy brand new knobs from Honda/dealer. Not too expensive. Oem. Brand new. Changed mine out because they were getting sticky to the touch.
79601-S2A-911 knob,turn about $10 a knob.

No. Those are the turn knobs he is talking about. The two near the AC panel.... Not the volume one. The volume and the AC speed up/down knobs need a full component replacement.

Sadly (for me, but good news for everyone else who needs replacement), Honda does sell all those knobs...even with the volume and the AC up/down. For example, this is the A/C speed...for $10.

Honda Part No.: 79608-S2A-A11
