Just received a call that my car is ready. Said it's a lot better now so I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Hopefully it's up to my standards.
If it looks good, ask them what they did - either a different shade for the base with a standard clear coat, or did they figure out the tint for the clear coat?

I called on Monday to tell them about the tinted clear coat and he said they were already working on the bumper and told me not to worry about it.
I'll definitely ask though because I know a lot the information could be valuable to a lot of NFR owners.
I also don't see it being way off in the pic but it is always different in person and even the lighting can make it look like it matches well or not at all. You should be mad that they painted the black part by the exhaust tips. That just screams that a car had paintwork done. This is exactly why I hate having paintwork done with my NFR. It is a pain to match.

It was like that originally so they just did it the way i had it. I was thinking of having them do it the way it is stock but I kinda like the look
Well, my 2007 got a "love tap" from an SUV, last week. She made a crazy, hard lane change into my driver's side. I almost missed her, but ran out of freeway shoulder room. Smooshed the door in, at bit and did some other minor damage to rear and front fenders.
Having Service King fix it. They will attempt to blend in the NFR. We'll see out they do.

Just got the car back. Here's a before and after of the 1st and 2nd attempt. Looks perfect. Literally can't tell that it was painted. Unfortunately I wasn't able to talk to the person who I had talked to the whole time so what they did remains a mystery.
