Painted calipers with no casting marks!
Now THAT's the look of a caliper that deserves to be painted!!
I agree with Luis who said about painted stock calipers: "No offense intended, but I think it looks like your run-of-the-mill calipers, painted red, with some lettering on them".
Machined looking calipers rather than cast ones are very nice.

To answer a couple more questions:
1. Where's all my crap in the garage?-
I am fortunate enough to have a "three holer" garage and lots of other storage.
2. Did I use 6X6's to support the car?-
They are actually 8X8's and were used for stabilizers with a floor jack under the differential. You can't really see the floor jack under the differential in the photo very well. BTW if you've got a way to cut the timbers nice and square and the same length, they do work well as stabilizers in conjunction with other stands and a floor jack.
3. MEK is available at Home Depot.
