Question;
What is the G2 system, and is there a reason you guys did not pull the calipers off the disc so you can remove the brake pads. I have painted the calipers on my sons 94 Accord and my other sons 96 Civic. We took everything apart short of the brake lines. masked everthing and used high temp paint. They both looked great but it was labor intensive and time consuming.
I have been wanting to paint the calipers on my Silverstone S, and I am looking for an easier, better way to do it. Thanks. Jack

I also used the G2 system and it is still there after about 2 months. The paint has stayed so far through about 4 washings with wheel cleaner, and that removes all the brake dust from them. I painted mine red btw. It is a great system, I highly recommend it.

Jack,
Try www.g2usa.com for information on the G2 paint system. People on the site swear by it! I am very pleased with the results on my Silverstone S! If you would like, I can email a side photo.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, if you can send pictures that would be great. What color did you paint yours. I was thinking about blue.
I am new around here. This is a fantastic site with a wealth of information. This site has really enhanced my love of the car. Thanks again, Jack

P.S. Silverstone is the best color. It is awesome.

Other threads have said it is plenty durable for track use! It is resistant to 1200 degrees. How often do your calipers get that hot? Rotors get very hot, but calipers are much cooler.
