CF would look good in the '04+ headlights and taillights.

We've all seen the chrome JDM housings, but no one has done the same in gold. I'd love to see gold headlights, taillights, grille, emblems, and interior trim on a GPW!!

I think black chrome would also look great. I saw a black chrome finish that had a rainbow reflection when the light was just right.

I'm not sold on the '04 taillights, but I definitely love them color-matched.

 

imo the taillights in meth's post makem look like cheap apc peices or the like.

it seems the back needs the black taillights to break up the rear end

good input, i'm just trying ot be unique here. No one did the rear and fronts of the MY04s when i did it so I thought it would be something cool. I like it...and sometimes the black does look like a high quality piece. But, all in all, i'm satisfied with it for now. Nex time i'm doing a entire car custom coloring, i'll change those as well. Anyway, thanx for the input and i'll put pics of the front up too.

 

Hey guys, mm i have gone thru many many s2k headlights, including the 04 ones hehe.. i use them mainly for headlight conversions that I offer for others as my 3rd business. Anyways if you guys want to know what real CF headlight look like. I've done one for a 7th gen 2004 honda accord here:

That looks cheap as hell. Might as well get APC tail lights.

Personally, I'd love to see someone who could leave the black, but replace the amber reflector in the tail lights with a clear reflector and then put in an amber bulb to keep it legal. I think it'd look pretty nice although I'm starting to learn to love the way the MY04 tail lights look even with the amber.
