yeah, that previous link is mine also...that was right before summer time. I have then taken off my rear wing and shaved some stuff. Here's a newer link with pics.

Wow. That kicks ass. Looks way better than the painted headlights IMO. Now get on a set for the S2k so we can see what it looks like

Gyrofx, how hard is it to clear the 04's headlight? And what kind of paint did you use to paint the housing. Thanks!

you have to bake the headlight in the oven like the previous MY models. Take it apart and the orange cap comes off pretty easily...too bad there are no cleared caps made. I took the housing to a shop to be painted sebring silver.

Two [extremely important] questions to ya!!! :

1) Based on your experience, would you believe that the "caps" could be re-inserted? Or are your amber "caps" in there now...and just painted over ?

2) What did you do with your *amber* caps? I know Rick's Signature Accessories has been very interested in offering alternative innards (similar to their pre-'04 diffuser options) for the '04 model's headlamp design. But as of yet, I don't believe anyone has offered them the necessary innards.
