I'm curious what people do when they drive their S2000 top down to a mall or store or the like on a nice day. Do you leave the top down while you run in to shop/see a movie/whatever, or do you put the top up?

 

I leave my top up all the time when parked. The only time I'll leave my top down is if I can see the car at all times.

For me, depends on the neighborhood, and amount of time. I live in la jolla, and feel perfectly comfortable leaving it down when I go into the store. But if I'm going to be in their more than 30 min or so.... up she goes!

Or maybe I'm just paranoid. But just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they're not after my S!

 

Once I get the proper sensors, I'll feel more comfortable leaving it down when I park, but for now it goes up always.

 

If I buy newspaper in 1 mins, I will top down. But 99.9% top up.

 

Top up, don't trust anyone! Especially in California.

 

If I can see err, admire, the car, top stays down Otherwise, it's always up. I have nightmares of someone deciding to toss their drink on her.
