parts AP1 vs AP2

Default parts AP1 vs AP2

Hi,

Are the parts from AP1 same as from AP2???

- front arm lower and upper (number parts are different)

- front shock absorber (number part is different)

- exhaust (i mean exhasut catback without end ties - ties are different i know)

- headlight brackets

I need repair S2000 and i find the parts.

If the part numbers are different it means something changed.

A few things I know:

exhausts are interchangeable but the hangers are different, which you mentioned

Shock absorber valving changed several times over the years...they will fit but will not be balanced for the springs (which also changed frequently). You should stick with the same model year shocks or if you do swap, do all four from the donor car including the springs to have the smallest impact on screwing up handling.

A-arms from ap1 & ap2 are different and I seem to recall that the uppers might not fit on the front. I know that is the case on the rear upper...the ap2 rear bushings are wider as well as the mounts.

Not sure on the headlight brackets...but they may be the same since I believe the ap2 headlights bolt into an ap1 fine.

and watercooler and condenser are too different?

Brackets are the same, what i saw.

The radiator on 00-05 should be interchangeable. Definitely the 06+ will not work on the earlier cars without modification...the temp sensor is different diameter.

Not sure on the condensor.
