Default Passenger side airbag question

Hello,
I am new to the board and need some help. I am thinking about getting an S2000. I currently have a Ferrari 308 qv. I love the Ferrari but am thinking about switching to something I can drive a little more. I put about 5000k per year on the Ferrari which is alot for a Ferrari but I want something that I can just hop in and go. I have always liked the S2000 but I have an 11 year old daughter that I take with me a lot. What do you guys with kids do about the airbag situation. Is there a way to have is disconnected? Thanks in advance for your help.

There is no factory approved disable, however if you do a search on this site, i remember threads dealing with having this done aftermarket. basicallly disarming a system like this is very doable.

The physical act of disabling it is easy. You have to check with your state law to see what is involved to get it legally disabled.

usually for state inspection (i'm in virginia) you need to remove airbags, computer, sensors, wiring and air bag light to be legal for inspection. mind you if you know someone it doesn't matter.
