Unhappy Passenger window stopped working when I . . .

I am getting my car ready to sell and I had a center console in slightly better shape so I swapped it out and suddenly my passenger window quit working. I've never had an issue at all with the windows before but once the window rolled down as the top was raised it just quit.

I thought it might be the Top switch since it makes the windows go up and down when the top is being raised or lowered so I swapped it out for the original and still no dice. The next line of thought was the plug might have a loose connection, but I can't detect one. Any other thoughts?

First check safety switch on driver door. If that's not it, post exact symptoms (i.e. is it completely dead, or does it still move under certain conditions).

Now I feel like a Doofus, I had totally forgotten about the safety switch and that was the problem.

I'm the original owner and have owned mine since 2/02 so I should have known, but obviously I've kept it on and never turned it off for long enough to have forgotten it even existed.

Thanx for the reminder and glad it wasn't more.

I've done that a few times as well. Happens to all of us.

Just forward of the window switches on the driver door

It's the rocker switch with the red bit with 'ON' written on it.
