Paying above KBB for S2000

Almost every S2000 is over KBB value. There's a guy on craigslist right now with a 2000 with around 17K miles. He's asking like $17K when it's listed at $11K in excellent condition.

KBB doesn't normally price cars. A good example is an NSX. It's nice to hear that the S2000 is in this range of higher than KBB.

KBB is pretty much worthless as it takes almost no consideration for mileage. Some people may say that is too much, but those are the same people who paid 9k for an '00 with 100k miles and have no concept of what mint condition truly means. Just buy it; you're not going to find a cleaner one out there.

For that little over I'd say yep its worth it, I was willing to pay a premium for my 04 with 11k miles but I paid right around blue book value

I'd pay that much. 10,000 miles is what most 2008 S2000's have on them!

In this case it is because it's a new car. There isn't an $800 mod that you can buy that would add $800 to the value of the car. Considered this way, you can see exactly why your deal is the real deal.
