People under 25yrs old
For those of you under 25yrs and owning an S2000, what kind of job and salaries are you holding to be able to afford payments on your S2000? (I'm mainly interested to know about those still in school)
24 yrs old
I am a full time college student, but I also have a BS degree, and work full time in Microbiology. Lets just say that I am doing alright with making the payments that I want to make (I want the car paid off by next year), but I do have to work full time to make it work.

um, I just turned 25, do I still count? I own a business doing carts and kiosks in the malls. Currently I have 6 locations with 2 more on the way. My payment was $550 a month at 9.5% but I just got refinanced at 6% and dropped my payment to $450 (thank God) My ins. just dropped quite a bit.
Turned 27 this year. But prior to that I was a pharmaceutical representative when I graduated from college. And then I went into doing estate and financial planning. But i'm not 25 anymore. But it is possible to make incredible money, working, before you turn 25. I have a friend who details cars. He is 22 and makes incredible CASH money. go figure. by the way he has s2k also

I don't see how anyone without a full time job can afford an S2000(and insurance) without either saving for a large down payment, or having some kind of parental help or having another expensive car to trade in for the S2000(in a way parental help). I think you would be the MAN in college if you had an S2000, but at the same time I would worry too much about someone being jealous and keying it or worse.
Good luck!
