performance chips?
I would honestly avoid that company at all costs. I have had a very bad experience with them and in my experience they are filled with deceptive scumbags. For my 97 Ford Taurus a long time ago, before I ordered it, I asked the guy who I ordered from that if I bought it, could he make sure that I could return it if I had problems with it just like Superchips. He said no problem and I go ahead and order it. Once I recieve it, it causes lots of problems. First of all, it's causing my engine to run rich because you could see it when I floored it, and by the end of the day, the rear bumper had soot covering it. The next day, the engine started running poor and my check engine light came on. I tried to return it, but the guy said that he don't except any returns at all. I wrote an article and sent it to many magazines, and it got posted on the front page of several car club sites, and a small local paper. I then contacted the BBB and after that, the president of the company called me up said he would accept the return and refund me. This was the same guy who the week before insisted that I was lying and that his phone sales rep would never lie like that. I also remember that some Saturn based car club also had filed a lawsuit against Jet chips in the previous year, so I guess that company just didn't learn.
Anyways, why would you want to chip your S2000 if it's not heavily modded? The factory tune is going to be the safest most conservative tune. In car car so heavily tweaked from the factory, a chip is not going to give you any horsepower, and it might actually cause you to lose power. A great example, is the fact that a good chip for the 96-99 Taurus SHO's still hasn't been found yet. Every chip those guys have tried have caused various issues to pop up because the factory tweaked that engine out so well.

thank a lot. I wasn't actually seriously considering a chip for the car. I was just curious if anyone knew anything about it. I don't want to mess with the warranty. If I ever do anything it will be just bolt ons and maybe a SC.
