Engine barely starts! any ideas?
Hey everyone, I've been browsing this site for awhile but haven't really gotten around to posting - I was hoping it would be something better then this, but we can't always get what we want.
Anyways, Two days ago I was driving and a concrete block broke off from the road and got caught under my S - it bounced around a little (which made me cringe ALOT
) and then got kicked out by the rear wheels.
Since then my S has been running fine, with little to no obvious damage (asides from a few scrapes on the underside - luckily it didn't even damage the exhaust!)
Today I started noticing the car smelled a little like fuel, not enough to make me wonder particularly, but it may be related. Drove it all day with no issues. However, tonight when I was heading back home I went to start the car and it seemed like I was out of power - the engine turned over and just barely started.
After it started up all was well - engine pulled strong, no noises or anything - no loss of power either. However, when I went to start it again back at home (nagging suspicion) it turned over three times and wouldn't start.
I was wondering if anyone had any idea what may be the issue - The concrete piece got me on the driver's side. Its late and I didn't get a chance to diagnose further, just looking for opinions - I'll try a battery recharge tomorrow (symptoms seem consistent, but to me at least this seems like waaaay too big of a coincidence)
Anyone have any ideas?
