Default Performance Driving School in SoCal?

I purchased my Sebring Silver 2002 back in Jan. I Just broke it in today reaching 1000 miles. Can anyone recommend or let me know near by Performance Driving school. I live in Irvine. I want to know more about my car's handling in high speed situations.

Thanks for your help!

Click on the "Performance Driving Clinic" link. They are holding one this saturday... not sure if there are openings left though. Its a bit of a drive, but if you want to learn on a track, its one of the closer ones to LA.

several of us went to sheriffs training area to learn to control slides, skids, etc and also did some handling and braking training (i think it was somewhere near riverside area). it was a fun group experience.
marks2k organized the event and maybe he can remember the web address-
we drove old police cars- ours werent allowed on the course... that would have been fun!

This is something that I would love to do! Unfortunately I can't make it this weekend...
Red, let me know how it goes! And if anyone would like to do one another time let me know!
Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday. And, A great way to REALLY get to know your s2k!

Have fun!

The school that wanabe is talking about is run by evoc (www.evoc.org) This class teached you car control, but not necessarily performance driving. If you want performance driving, take one of the autocross/track classes. That's what I plan on doing next. Just not sure when.
