phillips silvervision bulb same as 350Z??????
I spoke with a stealth bulb rep out here in So Cal who said they'd discount for orders over 10. I just have to find out tomorrow if they have the 7440 available. As I recall, he wasn't sure if they had a bulb for our car in stock, but he said they were coming out with one shortly. I'll clarify with him and post here.
As for painting the amber bulb silver, I'm concerned with it not lighting up as bright as these other bulbs, since only a small portion of the bulb is able to emit light...

I have these for my running lights
I am using the stock bulbs (unpainted and clear) for now until I find a pair of bulbs that look great and aren't so expensive. No tickets so far.
The key word is "Thin". A thin cost of silver paint over the amber bulb will reduce brightness of the origin bulb a little. If you do not like the result, you can easily remove the silver paint with paint thinner. Since the cost of a small silver spray can is $1 or so, it is a cheap experience. All four amber bulbs of my E430 had been painted more than 3 years ago, the headlight and taillight plastic housings did not changed color and/or stained from silver paint.
