Photo of Boot Cover Installed
I have had three different covers, the first one was recalled due to the seatbelt issue, the replacement cover (of which the felt lining ripped) and the third one that I have now.
It does seem like this third one is different then the previous two. It doesn't sit as high as the previous ones which I like better.
One strange thing to note though... is that I have NEVER had any problems with any of the three covers popping up or the tabs not staying in place. Once the cover is on... it has ALWAYS stayed on.

Stookster,
My top is only held down about an inch and a half extra by the belt, which I wrap around the steel folding arms (one half of which is covered with the rubber seal for the window). It is only light pressure required to hold it down the extra inch and a half, and figure after the newness of the top settles in, it may not even require the belt to hold it all the way after a few more uses....otherwise, the boot will always pop the rear tabs on the highway.
