We are running special price on Big Brake kit $2350 reg $2787
Rear rotors $360 each complete
Front racing rotor for stock S-2000 complete $380 ea.
Earl's stainless steel brake lines for stock S-2000 (GB) $95.00
#3 racing brake pads fit stock S-2000 Front $98 rear $116 (GB)

The rear caliper is not changed for this kit . The rear caliper is used with the ultra light weight racing wave rotor . The rear brakes do less than 25% of the braking of the car and adding R-1 tires moves even more of the braking to the front wheels , making the rear braking even less . The rear caliper also includes the emergency brake function , making the replacement of the rear rotor more of a problem . We have looked at replacing rear calipers , but the performance of the system , with out this change , has not warranted the additional expense. We would add emergency brake function to the drive shaft .

DWB - You say that those parts are for "stock" S2000. Would this mean, there would be fitment problems with different wheels other than the stockers? So that price includes the front calipers as well correct?

I'm thinking about getting new pads because I'll be going to the track late next month. But, I'm a bit confused. When I read Rick's site, it was recommended that #3's be used on the front and #5's on the rear. Here, you're offering #3's all around? Have you changed your recommendations? Thanks in advance.

I am the idiot here, but I thought the "big brake kit" included circular vented rotors in the front and wave rotors in the back. However, in the picture of ReedZ's car, I see wave's up front.

ok, maybe I can help clear some of this up, the big brake kit, includes only the front circular rotors, front pads, front and rear brake lines, mounting bolts, and front calipers.

rear pads, rear rotors (wave), are options, you can get the front rotors in the wave pattern as well but that is an option.

Parts marked Stock S-2000 will fit stock brake system. They will also fit cars equipped with Spoon or Project-Mu calipers.

We did change pad recommendation . At first we did not want to make #3 pad for the rear because of cost . We had many people pushing the car to the very limit . ( davepk) We decided to bite the built and make mould for casting material on the pad . Now we can offer the #3 pad both front and rear . This is the only Full racing pad that I know of that you can also run on the street . It is a has a very consistent friction level from ambient to 1200 F . This pad is NOT a grabby racing pad that most people are used to dealing with . You will find that with this pad you will decide how fast you want to stop not the ABS. It will also perform this function under any circumstance you can put it in.

Yes the explanation of the kits by turbo_pwr is correct . The rear rotors were an item that we added to our line to reduce weight and improve cooling in the rear . The rear wave rotor will not improve feel or braking capacity .
We are working on two other types of rotors and will post information as we get further into development .
Many of the things that we have done are now trying to be copied , the performance of these kits under racing conditions will be interested to see the results . Copies are a definite form of flattery though .
The ultra light weight Wave racing rotor and the two new rotors we are working on will make coping our kit impossible . The biggest item in this kit that gives it the performance is the forged caliper . The other big item is all the parts are racing pieces , not cheap look-a-like parts. When buying a kit look at the hardware , the fit of the parts and the quality of the components.

The third party testing is now on your news stands ( Sport Compact Car ) Dave Kennedy's car was compared to a Spoon Race Car and a stock S-2000 . Dave's car is equipped with a Pinnacle Braking System , with over 3,000 track miles on it. When this test was done , we had no idea that Dave's car was being used . Dave installed the brake kit himself .

For people looking for group buy information , lines are in and we are at 18 axle sets for pads , only one more car needed to place order for #3 pads at special pricing.

rick or james...
i am interested in upgrading my brakes, primarily for appearance sakes (i am tired of the rust, and i like your design)- i see the pinnacle front brake kit on your site, but cant figure out the rear brakes.
a few questions:
1. what is the price for front and rear brakes?

2. who would you have install if you werent doing this yourself?

3. i assume that these brakes would also work with other than stock wheels? (i know that yours are not stock)

thanks for supplying us with such great products!
