I think you're getting bent up over nothing.

people treating this car like it is an uber-rare ferrari need a reality check.

Its just plain respect. I'd flip if they had done this to my 80's camaro.

Its like I walk into your house during a party and take a dump on the floor.

you're comparing a minor scuff on the bottom of the bumper and a minor chip in the w/s to someone defecating on your rug?

I can just imagine OP down on their knees saying "see this right here! look at that!"

come on, guys, it's just a car....

I suggest you call up Honda customer service and file the problem with them if you do not like the dealers' solution.

UPDATE:

I have already involved the GM of the dealer and Serv. Manager. Both of them have apologized for what damage was done and they will be fixing the windshield chip, bumper and refueling my car. In addition I will get two 50% off coupons for parts or service and got a loaner car for two days.

They actually confessed that my car was used to compare it to another customer that was complaining of a 6th gear whinning sound in their S. Also they had the car porter confessed that he did drive my front end into the curb in the parking lot when he left it outside the workorder pen.

So I am content at the present time how they are handling the issue. I just want to see the type of work that will be done to repair the bumper and the w/s.

Maybe is not a Ferrari as you state, however it does not give the dealer personnel the Freaking right to damage my personal property. My car has to be returned the way I gave it to them. I can wonder how well you take care of your cars with this type of comment. I would imaging that you would not be upset, if they ding your car or rip your bumper off.

I'm glad to hear they are making it right for you, it makes me sick just reading some of these threads about dealerships... I'm getting really nervous b/c inspection is coming up in July and I don't take it to a dealer, but regardless, I don't want ANYONE else driving my car.
Either way, I hope they do good work fixing the bumper and windshield for you
