Smile Pissssssed!

I come out from the mall to find this:

STORY: There was this huge white escalade or lincoln suv that was next to me when I pulled in the parking spot. I am 99% sure it's them. They leave a note that says "Please call ###-###-####". No name, no nothing, just a number that probably doesn't even work. So I try it and no one picks up. I tried 2 more times and I get the same result. Now I'm pissed . I ask the nearby valet guy if he saw anything but he wasn't paying attention but heard brake or scraping sounds but paid no attention to it cuz he said everyone that was walking by didn't stop to look and just kept walking. I call the mall security and some dude in a bike shows up and writes a report, he calls his supervisor and he comes to takes some pictures. They basically tell me that all they can do is write down a report. So I told them everything that happened and asked to see any surveilance cameras that was around the place and these idiot security guys just said "I'm not sure where they are or where they're facing" and then proceeds to gimme this BS about how I need a police report for them to even access the surveilance, if there were even any. So I drive to to the police station and waited for a cop to show up (took him like 20 minutes ). He writes another useless report that I probably don't need. Don't get me wrong, he was nice and all and really wanted to help me out but there was nothing he could do. So then I drive back to the mall hoping to finally see some tapes and right when I show the security supervisor the police report he says "Oh ok, thanks, I'll include that in the report". I stood there looking at him like WTF I went all the way to the police station and wasted my time so you could include that in your useless report?! I didn't say that but asked him what else I could do, and he told me to call back the next day to talk to HIS supervisor or some sh!t like that. Anyways, I'm just pissed that this biaatch that hit me pretended to care and left a bogus number. Hopefully they'll pick up tomorrow... if not I'd have to go through my insurance and eat my deductible

Some more pics.

Got bored waiting for the cop so I took a picture lol.

That sucks - no two ways about it! My wife always complains because I park so far from other people when I go to the mall (or anywhere for that matter) but its to avoid what happened to you. I hope you get everything sorted.

Gee, and people on this list make fun of people who park out in BFE &/or take up 2 spaces when they park in BFE.

I still don't park close to the door unless there's a really wide parking place with my S. As you can see, all it takes is one a$$hat.

I always park in corner spots and as close to the curb as possible. I'm not sure if you had tried the same thing but it's better to park far than to park next to any car.
Your car looks good from the side it's not damaged on.

Go back to the security office and demand to see the surveillance camera footage. If they try and BS you then ask for their corporate number and go to speak to the mall manager(the mall hires the security company) and talk to them about it(seriously complain and be pissed about it). The mall manager should be able to help you out. Otherwise make sure you tell them that you're not paying for the damages caused to your vehicle while you were on their "private open to the public" property.

You can actually get the security company to pay for the damages if you play your cards right!!! To them it's either pay for the damages or lose the contract to the mall.
