The security tape will not help you. What good will it do all you will know is that x car hit your car and left at a mall which gets hundreds if not thousands of cars a day. Security does not care about you and are probably making fun of you for calling them so much. Not trying to be an ass. Sorry for ya.

Actually, it WOULD help me if it caught the them colliding into my car... and I would be able to see their license plate number, then I would have the info that could lead me to them and which will then lead me to their car, which would have marks on their bumper matching my car's color! It's just that they're being bitches and not wanting to help out. I mean, they don't do anything anyways, they're basically just rent-a-cops, why not help a poor guy out? :/

 

They're worse than that...What the fawk are they doing there if they're not even doing their job or willing to help you out with a video of the lic. plate or vehicle info. What's the point of having cameras if they cannot be utilized? I would ask them if the cameras actually work or whether they are dummy cameras?!! Then have them prove to you that they work by actually doing their job!! !

I would file a complaint to the BBB or another sanctioned organization regarding both the mall management and security company!!!

 

The cameras are probably too carpy get good video of the plate, it will just be a blurry vid of the vehicle backing into you car

 

This has always been my experience. Cameras won't get a definitive plate.

 

Sorry OP, that looks like a crappy situation. This is why i part about a foot ball field away from everyone else. My girlfriend yells all the time that she has to walk so far, but a 5 minute walk is better than a 5 week headache. People are just a-holes and have no respect for anything. I worked hard for my things, I try to do everything I can to protect them.

 

thats terrible, this happpend to me at the movies or in my parking lot at my house...i do not know. it was my rear quarter panel. i was pissed off cause i didnt see it until the next day. no lie in my parking lot now i but 3 parking cones in the back corner and i park in two spotss every day/night . no one says anything and i have been doing this for over 2 months now. lol
