~115 (top of 4th) In s2k racing a newer black 911.

I was stunned at how much faster the s2k was over 100 than my stock WRX.

Wow... a few things...

1) A stock S2000 simply cannot go faster than 155-157 with the top up.

2) A stock S2000 cannot go faster than 135-137 with the top down. And only then with a LOT of road to get there.

3) I have gone 159 with an Injen CAI / DC header / HKS exhaust and V-AFC

4) I have gone 171 (on the speedo... corrected more likely in the range of 165) with the turbo running 8psi.

5) This thread isn't for sane people. They are few and far between so we don't need to be lectured on speeding.

6) These are only my facts / opinions.

In my 1987 Nissan Maxima! It was out between temecula and hemet on the strip of highway that they filmed the fast and the furious on a year later.

 

137 Top Down on the Florida Turnpike with a fun girl in the passenger seat. Over 120 on 95 lots of times including a trip from one circuit city to another to get some speakers to fix that cheap radio....

130 top down with female passenger. Scared the hell out of me, 10 and 2.

I haven't heard that much screaming in a long time.

 

Sorry, forgot to mention going down on an incline on a long st8.

 

147 in 5th. Ran out of room for 6th. A bit twitchy at that speed, small imputs on the steering wheel move the car quite a bit.
