With the stock gearing... the max speed in 5th gear would be 138mph.

 

175 indicated in the Supra (racing modded Viper), and just under 140 indicated in the Turbo Miata. Haven't had a chance to top out the S2000 yet.

I almost topped mine out (hill coming up) and around 168 mph, calcualted by RPM since my speedo only goes up to 155. I'm sure there was more left.

147 in 5th is what the speedometer was reading, but I'm sure that was a bit optimistic since most manufacturers speedos read a bit higher than actual speed. 138 seems plausable for the true speed at the time, I was only reporting what I actually saw on the dashboard
