US dollar has been slipping the last few months, it used to be 1 for 1 and now its not.
Still, thats a ton of money for the S2000. The car is $48,600 Canadian here in Canada... $31,750 euro, or $35,600 US... which is still a lot.

You want to pay close to 17,000 US dollars to move up from MY00 to MY04?
There's A LOT of ways those 17,000 dollars can go towards making your S2000 MUCH, MUCH better than the upcoming car.
Don't do it.

Well, a few things to think about then:
The center console on the '02 and '03 cars is not leather it's vinal. http://www.ricks2k.com sells a real leather console cover that will fit nicely over your carpeted tunnel.
New seats are hard to come by. You may want to look for an aftermarket racing seat.
Instead of fixing the softop, get a new one with the glass window.
