-you will be LUCKY to find a company that will insure you out of the gate with an S, and if a company does offer you insurance, they will charge an arm and a leg
-a performance driving school is a must. no matter how a good a driver is, there will always be someone better and you would be wise to learn from them
-if your heart is set on the S, then go for it. I will say that starting off with a miata or 240 would be a much better idea. Also, be sure to find a balance between working towards the car and your education.

Don't rain on his parade guys. If he really reads up on this site he'll find out how expensive/unforgiving the car really is. If by chance he does come to afford it, who are we to say he couldn't handle it. Probably not the best idea for a first car, but I know I would have done it for sure had I been able to.

Hi. This is my first time posting, but I've read many posts on S2Ki. I am a 14 year old male and I would like to buy a S2Ki as a 16 year old. What should I do to make sure that I get a S2000?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Stay in school. Study hard. Take challenging courses. Go to college. Earn a degree in a field that interests you but yields a comfortable salary. THEN treat yourself to a new S2000.

i would start with FF...... FR as a first car is too much to handle.... even when i got my S when i was 18....it was hard for me to get used to it ....(my first car was celice GT-s)
i think having a FF as a first car it helped me a lot to learn on the FR
just my.02$

Dude no matter how hard you work you will never be able to own an s2k in high school. Buy an EG or EK civic and actually learn what makes a car go vroom vroom hands on. Then make perfect grades, work your ass of in 2 mininum wage jobs at the same time, graduate in top 5% of your class, apply for a shit loat of free college money, then use whatever you do not need for school to buy an s2k. It worked for me!
