Just wondering if i want to change to the glass back is it a direct fit or do i have to fo other modifications?

 

I think there is a DIY in UTH for this. You can either switch the entire frame (to 02+) with the glass top, or do some modifications to your '01 frame to get it to fold properly. Many people on the board have done it, but I personally don't know how easy/difficult it is (supposedly ~ a 6 hour job).

 

Not sure how this thread made it back to page 3 of the threads in a day but check this out. I am doing a rear glass on my 01.
