Your top is two peices, and you can replace the plastic window section with another plastic window section. You can convert the 00-01 top to a glass but you have to do a modification to the frame. I did my top replacement myself and it took about 6-7 hours from start to finish.

i got a 2000 model S,

The advantage of a plastic window: much bigger than the glass

disadvantages: it fades away ( my carwas covered for 3 months in the sun and the plastic window burned..

advantages: it costs 15-20 dollars only..

i prefer the plastic one cause its much much bigger but the glass one looks nice.

I have a window?

... It's a good thing I don't use the soft top, because if I needed to see out the back of it I would be out of luck.

My car is an "00". 7 years and one week and the rear window looks fine.

I use PLEXUS on it every time I wash the car. I also use it on the headlight and taillight lens, great product!

make sure you clean the INSIDE part of the plastic rear window...it gets dirty, very dirty

Also, plastic weighs less than glass
