Is the plastic rear window really THAT bad?
"I have the glass and have driven the '00's/'01's and you have a much larger field of view with the plastic."
Took the words right out of my mouth.
I'm happy with the glass, though. The smaller rear window looks more menacing--especially when you're backing into a pedestrian because you can't see crap in reverse!

Thanks to Plexus and regular cleaning, my plastic is flawless. I upgraded the OEM stereo by adding a sub woofer (mounted under the drivers seat), an amplifier (mounted under the passenger seat), dynomat for each door and a great set of JL Audio speakers all for about $800. The sound from the system now is really quite amazing but yet all upgrades are out of sight so people think that this is one awesome sounding factory unit. I've not had one grind from the tranny or one peep from the clutch in all of the car's 9600 miles. I haven't even experienced the infamous malfunctioning "auto down" from the driver side power window. THESE ARE GREAT CARS, no matter what year. I personally wouldn't even consider upgrading to a later model though.
