Plastic Wind Deflectors in front of Tires

Default Plastic Wind Deflectors in front of Tires

the black plastic things under the front bumper that goes infront of the tires i'm assuming is there to deflect wind and such.. if thats the case it should be ok to remove them right?

i am curious about these as well. For anyone that knows, what do they do? I have no need to remove them or anything i am just curious about them!

Keep them.

There has been a thread on this before and they do serve a purpose to direct airflow.

Its an air dam. It keeps air from going under the car and tires. Generally, it lowers drag.

Do not remove them. You will notice the front end feel A LOT lighter at speed. They are not for show.

They are meant for reducing lift. Just keep them there ...

i think they are water splash guard. they prevent water for splashing forward and upward onto the car. i notice this in other cars that don't have this, when i drive fast into deep puddle, water will splash over the windshield. if they are aero aids, we would see them on race cars. just my opinion.

They reduce air pressure in front of the wheels/tires during high speed AFAIK.
