My left one was missing when I bought the car and I replaced it. It's fairly cheap.

They're called strakes and yes, they're for aerodynamics and to improve high speed stability. They have nothing to do with water.

ok, i stand corrected.
thanks for posting the pics.

but i can't see it being that much beneficial to the Lexus LS460 because it's really a performance car, not even in it's class. and it's a heavy ass car, i don't think it would have high speed stability problems to begin with.

Because I work at Lexus and knew they had them. And Google Image searching for a pic came across that one. And I guess I like seeing a big ol' car drifting. Thought it was a cool pic.

It is for reduction in drag as stated above, my TSX had these also and I remember reading an Acura publication talking about it.
