Plastic window broke?
Yesterday I cleaned my car again and thought it was time to bring out the ol' bottle of Plexus (more on Plexus and alternatives regarding cleaning and maintaining the rear plastic window). Again I was amazed how good that stuff works. Looks like crystal clear 'glass' again!
I like to drive my S2K top down all the time, but I am afraid that sooner or later the rear window will crack, especially in cold weather conditions. It still seems to be really supple though (even when cold out), so I was wondering if Plexus can actually prevent degrading and tearing/breaking of the plastic.
Although I hope most of you out there aren't affected, I do look forward the input of the unfortunate ones...
Take care,
Siepel

Mine broke, but I bought the car used (4 yo when I got it), and the vinyl rear window was scuffed up so bad I could barely see out of it. It just shattered this past February in the early AM at an autocross meet....it was about 35 deg. F out.
I use a Muz mat and Plexus, and my window has neither cracked nor gottem scuffed up that bad. It's a bit warped so that the view isn't the clearest though. I purchased the car Nov '99 and it has nearly 80k.
