plastic window question.
I see a zipper around the inside of the plastic window area, does this mean that I can buy a new plastic window and just replace the window only w/o having to replace to whole top?

Yes, the plastic window can be replaced without replacing the whole soft top BUT don't let the existence of this zipper fool you into thinking it's a simple job. Several interior items and the back portion of the soft top must be dismantled to change this window. Some fasteners (rivets) must be destroyed and new ones put in. It is not a matter of just zipping out the plastic window and zipping a new one in. Before you are done, your car will look like it's in a "chop shop".
Have you considered polishing and shining up the window and then protecting it with Static Cling window tint?
