PLease give me comments on these wheels and sizes!
OK guys, I need to know if A: this is a good price, B: What size is good, and C: what you guys think.
I got a quote from a local guy for 2,038 dollars rims/tires.
Rims are 18x10 in rear 18x8 in the front. Are those good sizes?
Tires are 265 in the back (gonna push for 285 can they fit? And 245 in the front.
Nitto series 555
I want to know if these sizes will fit. Also what you think of the wheels.

Silver or Chrome? Im shooting for silver cuz they dont come in gunmetal color.
+ A carbon fiber black hood.
BTW as my name says its formula red.

They look heavy and I think the front offset is only 45 mm, which is borderline OK. You'll need a very high rear wheel offset (65+?) to fit 10" wide wheels.
Try posting this in the wheel/tire forum and you might get some other responses.

The guy at the shop said 18x10 in teh back with 265 tires would fit just fine. Hrrmmmms I'd like some more opinions on this one. Maybe someone has somthing like this? Im not too worried about the front. 225 in the front should do the trick no problem 18x8 is fine. Someone give me something to go off of please. Thanks
I don't really think those rims are worth that price, and the Nittos aren't worth much either. Shop around for other possibilities that catch your eye. If this is what you like then just haggle the price and drop it as much as you think is a good deal.
I also think the price is too high-keep shopping around. One more thing you should think about is that the S2000 comes with rims and tire sizes that are a optimum set-up for our cars. You should not deviate too much from the OEM sizes , I think that 18's are too big for our cars. - I have changed my rims and tires on EVERY car, I have ever owned and let me tell you if you try to go too big, and I know it looks awesome, it can really throw off the handling for the car, and make it worse instead of better.

ccarnel is right, you need to keep looking and stop getting advice from "the guy at the shop" He's not trying to put you in the right wheel combo.

10" wide in the rear is pretty wide. Maybe too wide. The most I've heard of is 9.5. Is anyone else on the board running 10s in the back?? Definitely gonna have some offset issues, and it sounds like the guy at the shop is just interested in putting $$ in his pocket...
if the offset is right , they will fit, like +65 or so, there are some guys running this, but remember our motors are just modified RC Car motors. Your car will look great but will be slow. A friend out here "RL7" is running 285's on hre's.
