Please tell me this is just a temporary problem!!!!

My Accord goes like 320-330 on a tank, and the S is about 250 ... so it's definitely a much shorter time between fillups. Plus, when you're driving the S the time (and miles) just fly by, so you're always surprised how much gas is gone.

it didnt use an unbelievable amount of gas- i did drive in a lot of stop and go traffic and probably put between 50-100 miles on the odo. 1/2 tank in 24 hours just seemed like a lot. Good idea on the MPG calculation, but how do i measure the gallons? I can find out how much is in the tank after i fill up from the manual, but how do i know how many gallons are left after driving for awhile. (if there is some simple answer to this, take it easy on me- my brain is fried from work)

I get about 200-225 miles between fillups. The light isn't on, but I'm down to 2 bars or so on the
dash.
Perfectly normal. I'll bet you easily did that 100 miles and didn't even realize it
1/2 a tank in 24 hours unreasonable? Not quite. Last weekend I went through a 1/2 tank in my Z in an hour and a half. All depends on how you drive it. How many RPM's you hit in each gear is a big factor.
I usually put in around 11 gallons with 220 miles on the tach. That is usually the best that I get. Most of my driving M-F is stop and go on the freeway. (only 6 miles thank G-d). I am driving down to LA next Friday and I'll be able to see what milage I get on full speed freeway driving.
