Has anyone thought of this or tried it? I just read a post from another forum that says more and more companies are making them for imports. I was just wondering. I thought it would look different on something like a show car but not a daily driver. If you do know a company/person please give me their internet addy or number please

That's a good idea when you have everyone wanting you to pop the hood to check out the engine bay.

 

That's exactly what I mean. I'm going to buy an s2k very shortly to use as a show car and I thought of the hood this weekend. I dunno if it's been done but I'm going to do it. I was hoping that I could just buy it instead of having to get someone up here to do it. Maybe I can get the textile engineering department of AU to help me with the plexi

I saw one on an Accord in Century City.... It was air brushed with the center being clear to be able to show off the chromed head covers as well as other things to show off. If done correctly, it would look kinda awesome. Maybe CF with the engine portion in raise plexiglass. That would work.

 

Come on guys i know somebody here has got some information on a clear hood
