Default Police decal on window as theft deterrant?

Just wondering if anyone is using any kind of Police decals/stickers on the windows as a sort of theft deterrant. Do you think it would even work? I sure wouldn't want to be ripping into a car that belongs to the police.

What if you attract attention from the "FTP" crowd? Might cause vandalism? dunno...

Sure. I really liked "Roxanne", but "Don't Stand So Close To Me" is pretty cool, in a stalker/perv way.

Just get an alarm, and no dont use decals, not even that aftermarket alarm... If u do then they will know which alarm company and can make it easier to bypass..

Really, just add a blinking LED for visual deterence - I believe Modifry still sells a kit to enable the OEM blinker.

I do have the OEM alarm, it came with the car when I bought it used. I just figure, hey it is a cheap solution for added protection, so I just wanted to throw this out there and see what people think.

NRA sticker will do a better job, but again, you will probably get shot by LAPD if you would come visit us in LA.

Personally, I don't think many vandals can read, and even if they could, the chances of them seeing a sticker and paying attention to it are slim. I'd go with seat locks, a bright LED, and keeping things of value out of sight, and you should be fine.

I have heard about marked cruisers getting broken into, so there is your answer.
