I prefer to sit on my roof with my 300mag or Cloud Mt. Armory m4.
Yes, we are gun nuts here in the northwest.

Put a LOJACK sticker/paper over your VIN from the inside. It not only covers the VIN so no one can read it, but gives a very subte "go away" from anyone that might be thinking of trying something

It doesnt hurt.....

Which, of course, is probably not legal in many jurisdictions.

Supposedly they hide them in one of about 8 different locations, just so that its not always in the same place...unless you get lucky, you'd have to strip the interior/trunk to find it.

Just get an alarm, and no dont use decals, not even that aftermarket alarm... If u do then they will know which alarm company and can make it easier to bypass..
A majority of OEM alarms are made by DEI. I'm sure thieves already know this.

Yep and alot of aftermarket alarms are made by dei too.. but its all about the deterent... They will just go the next car that doesn't have the alarm, then risk it..

But if they really want the car and want it fast they can just through it on a flat bed....

I was told theres 5 difference places they install it. If you called Lo-Jack, would tell you where it is?

No, they arnt even supposed to tell the owner where it is -- it also depends on the car I would assume.
I had LoJack installed in my E46 M3, but I never found it

Yeah, cops will get pissed at that though... make sure its just paper and you can move it when you get pulled over.
Cops look at the VIN in that location and if you've covered it they might hold you longer while they investigate deeper and might even find that baggie of coke you have sitting in your dash.
