Default Polishing the intake manifold

Well I started polishing my intake manifold and its taking forever. I'm using a die grinder with some sanding wheels, they are a combination of 2"x1" peices of sand paper and between them are pieces of scuff pad. So far its worked ok but I need to get between the intake runners and around the nooks of all the manifold where the vacuum lines connect. Anybody got any clue what I need? I tried hand sanding but... lol that would take a few years to finish at that pace. My dies are 1/4" shafts, I also have a dremel (1/8" shaft I believe) that I can use but I'm having trouble finding bits. If anyone has any experience doing this let me know. Thanks

Try either a Dynafile grinder or a straight grinder with cone sandpaper (I'm guessing you have a angle grinder). Hope this helps.

I'm going to check and see how much its gonna cost for someone to finish it for me, I did quite a lot of work so maybe it will be cheaper to just pay someone to finish it than for me to buy more tools.... lol

Heres what I have
Heres the style bits

I clean my engine weekly and that is the one part that isn't as clean as I'd like. I know of no easy way to clean it though without removing.

Check Eastwood.com, they have a ton of polishing buffs and abrasive bits. They may even have a flex shaft for your grinder to help get between the runners.

maybe one for the ole dremel might help. Dremels are such crap, barely used mine and it vibrates like an SOB.
