I will modify existing screens...I think many of my clients would be existing users and would NOT want to purchase another screen just to use this mod. It will take some more time on my part, but that's business.

I put together a list of all parts necessary for one controller last night, and that order will go in later tonight. If everything works as designed, I will quickly design a PCB and ship it off to the board house. Once those come back, we're in business.

OK, I'm in my new place and finally have net access again (about an hour ago...stupid ComCast...probably have to change my web address AGAIN!). The place is a COMPLETE disaster and I still have a lot of smaller items at the old place, but I have until the end of the month to clean it up.

Some of my electronic equipment is already here, but the screen and LEDs are at the old place. I don't believe my part order to Digikey went through due to AT&T net issues, so I will place the order again in the next couple of days.

My apologies for the delays, kids, but I'm hoping you'll feel it was all worth it in the end.

My apologies, kids...just when I was getting things settled here around the household after my move, Dana (HopkintonMA) passed away, so that kind of took precedence over everything else.

There were issues with my order, originally from funky web access (thank you AT&T ), and then with my old address being on my credit card and not the shipping address. <sigh> Dana's funeral was today, so I will try to place the order again for the prototype parts tonight.

If the prototype works, I will send the design to a board house to have some PCBs cut (gotta keep it professional looking, right? ). Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about the project.

Sorry about the passing . I don't believe anyone here is "overly-anxious" to the point of denying you your time to take care of personal affairs. You just let us know something when you know something...we'll wait.

Sincerely,
Dave
