of course its gonna be notchy when the engine is cold, but when that puppy warms up, it is so smooth.

The poll does not allow for the fact that most start notchy and become smooth over time. I think it takes about 25,000 shifts.

I hope it gets better over time. Mine has 1500 miles and it is VERY notchy. Some times it refuses to go into gears unless I rev match or jam it in.

It definitely does. Mines like butta now at 49,000. Super easy even from 2nd to 1st.

Where is the option for "Both"?

Mine is knotchy when cold, but is definitely smooth when the car is adaquately warmed up. It also got smoother as the miles added up, ADN after my 15k service at the dealer.
