Polymer hood bra and mirror guards
I was informed that there exits a clear polymer bra with attendant guards for the exterior mirrors that are practically invisible and extremely tough and durable. Where can I purchase these items? I live in the Seattle-Tacoma, Washington area.
Actually, Stongard is headquarted in Bellevue. While their website lists installers in the area, including Barrier Motors, you can have it installed by the manufacturor. It is cheaper, and they can do a semi-custom cut for you. For instance, I had the front sheet cut without an emblem hole, then applied my new emblem over the top of the sheet. Looks great, decreases the visibility of the product. Do check out www.stongard.com, or you can call them: (425) 646-0670.
If you want to read all the negatives as well as the positives, check out the recent thread about Stongard Light. Someone in that thread summarized the negatives more elegantly that I can. However, I will say that is does work well, but you should know the pros and cons to make an educated decision.
