Default porterfield breaks pads-- SQUEAKY!?!?

I put a set of Portfields on the front and rears and have notice some annoying squeakyness when coming to a stop... if I ride the break a little, it goes away for a few, then comes back.

Any easy fixes for this? I don't want to have to take the calipers off again and spray the pads,etc.. Or will they just wear in?

Thanks,
Aaron

Almost all performance pads will squeek some. Did you use the stock backing plates and use break lube between them?

You need to do this to prevent squeaks. Sorry. It won't go away by itself. Sorry again.

I have the Porterfield R4S's on and no squeaking. I used the stock backing plates and lots of 1600 deg anti-seize compound.

Although I have found that the R4S's are dirty as hell. A trip around the block and the wheels are filthy with brake dust. I'll probably go back to stock pads when these are gone.
