ask the people in the 230rwhp NA club......

but from wat i've researched... cause i wanted to go on this path before but decided supercharger would be better for the streets.

You will need Intake, Header, Test pipe, Single Exhuast or a really expensive dual (Amuse hint hint), *Spoon Headgasket*, j's or spoon thottlebody and some kinda way of tuning.. vafc ems or whatever.

the headgasket makes the compression higher by .5 or was it 1 over stock.. i forgot. You might be able to break 245rwhp too with all that and a good tune.

I think he's transplanting the engine into a Lotus. But I may be mistaken.

If we're talking about ENGINE upgrades.

1. Stroker kit for AP1.
2. AP1 ECU for AP2 engine for 9k redline. May have to change valves and springs IIRC. Anyone remember?

So let's keep it to ENGINE upgrades.

1. Stroker kit for AP1.
2. AP1 ECU for AP2 engine for 9k redline. May have to change valves and springs IIRC. Anyone remember?
He hasn't told us that yet so how do you know. Only based on his screen name? I wouldn't be positive?

And Version...nobody has tried all of these upgrades yet so I just because your engine is a freak doesn't mean the others are

My last dyno run on a DynoJet I laid down 229HP and 123ft/lbs. of torque! My mods?:
1. Invidia V3 cat-back
2. Comptech header
3. Modified stock air box w/ ram air and AUT cooling plate
4. K&N replacement filter
5. Custom intake elbow
6. Cusco flywheel and clutch
7. Custom oil catch can
8. A good tune!
9. 4:77 gears
10. Bypassed TB coolant lines
11. Hondata intake spacer
12. Spoon head gasket

According to your stats, you have a '00 S2000. If this is the case you may want to switch the ECU for one from a '02 or '03. Honda changed the tune on those and I think it was good for close to 10 HP!

I've also heard that those Type-R stickers add about 15whp each, so grab two and put one on each bumper.

the ECU tuning from the factory of 00-01 are different from 02-03.
02-03 have a better tune from the factory.

but to get the HP you want you would have to retune anyway so thats not a big concern.. did you get the engine with the ecu from the same S2k?

I guess I can't blame you for that. Rather than hate.... I shall congratulate!

Muahahaha!

To the OP, an AP1 engine in your 900 lb car is going to be wicked!
2004 and up has a 2.2L engine. Would a supercharger fit? They're pretty reliable.
