Is it possible ?
I just sold my Seven, and got an s2000 engine, but with an S2000 around it
Had I wanted to go big power on my Seven, I'd have put a Ford Duratec 2.3l engine in it. There are Cosworth heads and other parts available for it, and it makes nice reliable power.
The Honda is close to maxed out IMHO, so you need to touch it in many places for comparatively low gains.
On the other hand, the turbo busa is also around 50kg lighter than a car engine, so you need extra power to compensate for that weight gain.

well.
i did it. KN drop in/VAFC2 tuned/70mm exhaust. baselined 197/131---->227/147 after those mods.
some have called my car a freak, some thinked ive faked my dyno sheets and the dyno. but the 13.57@105.9 and the 3 4.57'd s2ks ive pulled may dispell those haters.
my car may be a freak, or it might not. blownAP made 219rwhp on the stock exhaust with I/TP/Tune. i think that some tuners are afraid to push the S2k as far as tunes go, and thats why it gets the "doesnt respond to NA mods" rap. most sadly mod the wrong part of the car, and expect gains. its simple:
70mm SINGLE makes the most power. its loud, but you gotta pay to play.
YOU have to tune for bolt ons.
Test pipe is one of the biggest bangs for the buck.
Dont mess with the factory intake, and if you do KN FIPK/Js/MUGEN make power. the rest arent worth the boxes their packaged in.
a well balanced NA car is really the eptiome of fun, to me atleast.

I will attempt they way you configure your s2000. I will also use 70mm exh.

How come you sold the 7 ? You said, you had a s2000 powerplant ?
Yes, duratec is the possiblity but very hard to get a cossie head. One reason I like to use S2000 engine is because of the reliability issue. I'm also tired of chasing parts in England. Everytime I need parts, I always hazzle accross the ocean.
At least Honda S2000 is available anytime I need parts and IMO the engine is more
classy than the Ford Duratec.
