Default Possible to find day of manufacture?

Hey, so I was thinking about it and I am curious to know what day my car was manufactured. I know that it was made in march of 05 at the suzuka plant and that it is the 5385th for the model year (what I gathered from the VIN), but I was just wondering if it was possible to find out exactly what date it was made instead of just the month in general.

Kind of silly, but I thought it would be neat to know.

Also, there was one previous thread about this from back in 2001, but the question was never answered.

I've previously found grease pencil markings inside the interior panels with dates from around the time my car was being assembled.

I haven't checked to make sure all the panels have matching dates, and it's possible that the dates written on the panels are when the panel itself was manufactured as opposed to when the vehicle itself was assembled.

But the panel dates ought to give you some place to start from.

Specifically which panel did you find it under?

You can only gather month and date, it's on the VIN/Barcode on the door jamb. Locating part manufacture date won't tell you much. I've seen the same car have door panels three months apart. I thought they might have been from different cars, but the clips and screws look like they had never been touched.

call your dealer, they can look up production date and delivery date. This is information the service department of your dealer must know for warranty provisions.
