Is this possible? Has it ever been done?

Of course it can be done. One member here "shaved" EVERYTHING -- emblems, door locks, trunk lock, door handles, sidemarkers, and yes, even the fuel door! He rigged up a slick remote-operated motor that ejects his left rear taillight assembly and re-routed the fill nozzle there.

FWIW, I don't think removing the sidemarkers is illegal, since there are already front and rear turn lamps.

WHat's the average rate to shave the trunk lid, anyone know? I'm pretty tempted to do that, getting rid of the emblem and the key hole.

Does anyone have a pic of the S with the door handles shaved??? I'm not sure I'm that interested in doing it, but wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like.

This is funny, because Civics/Integras all yearn after the "JDM fenders" with sidemarker signals. I personally like it there. It looks good and makes the car safer when switching lanes (people already have a hard enough time spotting our cars).

As far as getting rid of the "S2000"....to me, it just makes it look like you were in an accident and the body shop forgot to put the emblems back on.

Are you ashamed of your car? Do you want MORE people to ask you what kind of car it is?

Yeah, I did ALL the work on my car, and spent ALL that money because I am ashamed of it.

Did it ever occur to you that there MIGHT be some other reason?

I don't see any side emblems, but those really do look like sidemarkers to me.
