Default Possible Honda S1000 in MY2006 (R&T Sept)

I just got my R&T in the mail yesterday and I was reading about the possible Honda S1000 (1.0 L = 120 hp) in 2006'ish for <$20K. They say it may not happen, but doesn't that just sound great, a little roadster to toss around. The pic wasn't that bad either. I wish I brought it in and scanned it, but work doesn't permit it.

Anyoneelse read this. Can you scan it?

If this is repost, sorry.

Knowing those marketing idiots at Honda, there is a good chance they might call this new 1.0L car a S2000. LOL

Whats the point of Making an S1000, if you're going to go ahead and make an S1200 to ruin it??

It would be the S1100, unless Honda is going to do a 2.4 liter in 2008.

I doubt (if this happens) that the motors will always be exactly 1:2 ratio between the "little" S and the "big" S.

I posted in the other thread that was started about this, although the look of the front was okay, it did not knock me over like the S. Plus, 2006 is a LONG ways away.....

The whole key to the S1000 car is small size and affordability, and based upon size, like the Honda Beat, it may not make it to the US and that would be a shame.

Remember the last generation CRX-Si?
1.6 4-cyl
108 hp
FWD
~2,100 pounds

The S1000 is rumored to be
1.0 4-cyl
120 hp
FWD
~2,100 pounds

If they build it stiff like the CRX-Si and not all flexible like the del Sol, at a targeted price of below $20k, they could sell them here easily is my guess....
