Default Post here if your windshield weatherstripping is messed up

This started here:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=73383

I have a little "glitch" in the soft rubber around the windshield maybe an inch or so long about halfway up the drivers side in the weatherstripping.
In the thread above, I noticed InsaniT has it as well, same spot, same prob, I mentioned it and quite a few others have chimed in with the same prob.
Check the other thread and look at InsaniT's pix if you aren't sure what I'm talking about.

So I was curious how many people's cars have this little prob?
It's nothing major, just an annoyance, but it does seem to affect quite a few cars.

I noticed once when I was washing my car, I had the stripping lift up a little on the upper part of the winshield. After the weather warmed up, it went away. Haven't seen it since.

This is a common problem. Straighten it out with a business card and leave it out in the sun for a few hours. It will tighten right back up.

Very true. This does go away with the sun's heat...

I have it on both sides of the car. It comes and goes dependent on temperature and sun exposure.

I've got it to, exactly that same spot. I'll have to try the business card thing...

mine does it on both sides...
