When driving with the top down, the S2K collects quite a bit of dust and pollen in the interior/dash area. For quick wipedowns I keep a dry Swiffer (electrostatic duster cloth) handy in the cup holder or glove box. Works great for picking up tiny bits of dirt in the leather seams, too.

Tip here is to lower the window before they get out. With the window completely down they have no choice but to close it with the door !

I have the top down all the time so I lock the top a lot. I always hated the metal to metal sound of the top latches hitting each other. (metal to metal)
I installed a very small piece of black velcro on the striker plate on both sides so the metal striker plate is covered with the velcro. Not only is there no more metal contact it's also quieter when you lock the top latches down. No more metal gouging.

Storage tips:
1) I keep my door opener under the elastic on the glove-box door. I keep my insurance and registration under the opener to prevent scratches on the inside of the door.
2) The shallow well in the secret compartment is a perfect fit for a sunglasses case and I always assumed it was made for that.
3) Large well in secret compartment contains map, maglite, disposable camera, and tire gauge.
4) 10 CD wallet fits perfectly under passenger seat, and as Ruexp stated, will not end up under your feet during spirited driving. If you have an MP3 player that is plenty of music.
5) Cupholder holds spare change and sunscreen for lips. Drinks are never in my car.
Driving tips:
1) Take a (or several) driving instruction courses. Don't be cheap. You bought a fairly expensive and fairly powerful car and you should know how to drive it properly. Frankly, some of the questions I read here on driving technique scare me. "I was going too fast around this corner, so I downshifted and the back end came out. This car is dangerous".

Keep a roll of paper towels in your trunk. Use one paper towel when getting gas. Roll it up and put it under the nozzle to catch the drips that always fall from the nozzle no matter how careful you are.
1. If your hood is OEM.....Drop it to latch.....don't press the hood (pressure dings)
2. Always close your trunk from the center not the sides.
3. Blind spot mirrors!!! I swear by them and they are great for traffic. I have them on both sides.
4. When wearing hat.....get it fitted....wear a visor instead...or turn it backwards.
5. Whenever possible always close doors with Windows UP.
6. Wear athletic clothes when washing/waxing car. Take off jewelry/watches. No buckles or buttons....or some of you.....NO RHINESTONES!!

Several times in the past I have found that my door mirror was slightly misaligned when getting into the car. I live alone and no one else is allowed to drive Mz. Giggles. I finally figured out that it is possible to cause the mirror to "reposition" if the door is closed to hard. No - I have never slammed the door closed but apparently it is possible to be "to firm" when closing the door. I have never heard of anyone else having this problem (maybe my mirror is defective) but if you feel that someone is messing with you this might be what's happening.
Also, to keep fingerprints off the paint and glass I have found that placing my fingers on the black trim at the top of the door is the best place to use when closing the door.
