On my first testdrive for an S, the dealer handed me the keys and said to take it out for a spin. I drove around, and then had to make a U-Turn. Midway through, I thought I was going to scrape, so I stopped, and tried to put it in reverse. I couldn't figure out how to get to reverse for the life of me. Held up traffic, and then finally I quit on the U-Turn and just went into the intersecting street. I had to make this big loop back to the dealer that didn't involve going in reverse. When I asked the salesman, he showed me and asked if I ever drove stick before. So stupid...

The only other 6-spd I had ever driven was an RSX Type S... nothing fancy is required to put that in Reverse other than comming to a complete stop... I took FOREVER to figure out how to reverse the S2k LMAO

When I got mine the shifter was stuck in the down position, so I didn't even know it had a lockout until one day after work in the parking lot when it worked. I sat there until everyone left then pushed it out of the parking spot. I figured out the push down thing on the way home.

I personally love to shift, so I downshift all the time. To me it's much more fun.

The dumbest thing i ever did was backing out of a parking lot. I was trying to back out and proceed on shifting reverse, then back to first. I was afraid that i didnt have enough room to move forward and not hit the car parked in front of me so I shift back to reverse. Not knowing that I didnt shift to first and still in first gear i accelerate and hit a parked car. Good thing i didnt stepped on my accelerator otherwise there would of been more damage than a scrap bumper. I was so embrass because a couple walked by and saw it.

Ive had a few, first day i got it i thought i was in reverse, but was in 6th gear, luckily the parking space was on a downhill, so i VERY slowly rolled backwards to back out of my parking space.

In the dealership parking lot, i freaked out and forgot how to turn the car on, (starter button) took me a good 10 seconds to remember

WORST BY FAR

I was parked, and i wanted to pull forward, so i did, and i forgot there was a parking block infront of me.. i ended up having to drive over it the entire length of the car (backing up would have ripped the front bumper off probably) my stock exhaust now has some pretty nasty rash/dents on the bottom of the tips. It was terribly hearing a grinding sound that whole length, and infront of a parking lot full of people too just watching me. Worst day of my life

I heard my alarm go off in the night and I got SUPER paranoid someone was trying to steal my car....I stood by the window in my house practically all night long waiting for them to return to the car. I never saw anyone or anything and when I pulled the code from the alarm the next morning it stated it was the glass break sensor. It was at this point of inspecting the sensor that I noticed a half full plastic water bottle under the seat that had been contracting and expanding with the temperature change in the night making loud "POP" sounds that set off the alarm.
